SportStop · About
A tidy home for your team's season
SportStop is a small, deliberately-scoped website-builder for parent-coached junior sports teams. One link, one season, one tidy place that holds the fixture list, the lineup, the result, the snacks roster, and the parking notes for home games. Anyone can view; anyone with the team passphrase can record results on match day.
Why it exists
Most weekend junior sport runs on a coach, a WhatsApp group, and a stretched-thin volunteer trying to remember whose turn it is to bring oranges. The information is everywhere and nowhere — a forwarded email here, a photo of a draw there, a roster typed into a Google Doc no-one can find. SportStop is the single-purpose place to keep all of that in one spot for the season, with everyone able to see what's coming up and the coach able to update one place when things change.
Who it's for
Junior teams (under-8s through to teens), parent-coach run, typically in a community or school competition. The kinds of teams where the "team manager" is also someone's mum or dad, where the season is short, where the league sends fixtures by email, and where almost everything's already happening in the team WhatsApp.
Not for: professional clubs, fantasy leagues, multi-team tournament management software. Smaller scope, sharper focus.
Where we're at
Very early beta. A handful of teams are using it across rugby, netball, and soccer. We're shipping fixes and new features in response to what real coaches need — sometimes within hours of hearing about them. We're not trying to scale to thousands of teams yet. We're trying to make the experience excellent for the first few, then grow carefully.
If you'd like to get a team set up, see the help page for how it works, or reach out via the Feedback link in the footer. New teams are onboarded by arrangement — we're not yet at the point where self-serve sign-up is open to everyone.
